First TAG!!

So I was tagged by Dish AND Abhilasha :$
I apologise for responding sooo late but you know I'll always respond so Tag ME!!

Instructions: Remove ONE question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 8 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all.

1. What have you realised recently?
Um, that I'm supposed to write something for Jay's wordpress blog asap! & that I haven't actually visited the school library practically since last September or something.

2. Have you given your first kiss away?
Er, Yes.

3. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, who are the 11 blog buddies you would take?
I don't actually have 11 blog buddies :( So yes, I'd take along all!

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Everywhere!!!

5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
Presently, my dreams are all about this person, which is quite strange since I rarely actually like someone. So I'll get over it soon. My dream is to fly! over the rainbow! sooo high! Lol. no I don't really have a clue about which one of my wishes I want to come true the most! So as many as possible :)

6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Metamorphically yes, in reality, Hell No, I love the rain way too much to want it to end just for the sake of nature physics.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
My sense of boundaries. Dish & Nitya might understand what I mean, for others, I plan to remain a good girl all my life.

8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Invest & multiply about 3 quarters of it, the remaining quarter would be blown on endless parties, shopping & other indecent indulgences :D

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
I never make the first move. Never.

10.List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Um, I was Tagged by Dish & Abhilasha.
So herez about Dish:

a. She is like my emotional twin!!! Understands me without effort :)
b. She is the sweetest girl, but could be better if she wasn't all that introvert ish.
c. She's amazingly creative & I love her taste in books! :D

About Abhilasha:
a. She is friendly, sweet, humorous & helping! I don't know why people think she is arrogant and all that! Totally disagree with them <_<.
b. I love the stuff she writes! Simple yet enchanting! I don't even pay attention to music when I'm reading one of her posts :)
c. Her spectacles!! They are ALWAYS there!!! I can bet no one has practically seen her without them! She's adorable! :D

11. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?

I avoid thinking about this topic since my list is endless & I NEVER ever find a person who's even close to half a quarter of it. If I start listing it I'd need a separate post altogether to express myself entirely. So I'll skip it.

12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Um, the conformist, I-know-more-than-you'll-ever-know, Everything-I-do-is-so-beyond-right, Opinionated, fake, tag along type people who think they can outsmart the world.

13. What is the one thing you cannot live without?
Has to be, um, friends.

14. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Point it out to me & try not to bitch. Knowing one's faults makes one stronger :)

15. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Self satisfaction, the kind which makes you feel like everything, good & bad was worth the result.

16. Are you a shopaholic or not?
I am when I'm not broke, which is the reason I'm usually broke :'(

17. Find a word to describe the person(s) who tagged you.
Dish: I agree with Abhilasha. Dish is Enigmatic.
Abhilasha: More to her than just a word! I'l need way more than just one word to describe her.. right now she's pretty much close to perfect.. but then the idea of perfection is different for different persons.

18. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
The one which feels super bored all the time :P

19. The first time you felt you were in love?
Hasn't happened yet. Or yes maybe it has, about 3 weeks ago :D but I'd rather call it infatuation, strongg infatuation!

20. Would you rather have love but no money or money but no love?
Presently, money & no love is fine by me. Love can happen later I need to buy another ipod & my P1i!! :P

I Tag :

Tamanna
Jay
Vasudha
Pallavi
Nik
Nitya (
if she ever comes back to blogging i.e. )

Um, Thats about it since I don't have anymore blog buddies :)

Doomsday : 21st December, 2012

Recently my not so wandering attention was caught by the 2012 theory of doomsday.
Surprisingly it intrigued me since it was for once based on facts.
It started with some guy writing a program called the Web Bot which functions on smaller programs called spiders that comb the internet & predict stuff in the stock markets. This program predicted a massive earthquake in 2004 which would take a toll on many lives, & the tsunami struck. The web bot also predicted the anthrax attacks on USA, & the hurricane Katrina & the same web bot now predicts something like a nuclear war in 2010-2012, which would obviously mean Boogey man is here for all.

The Ancient Mayan Calendar is extremely accurate & can predict lunar activities for 1000s of years in advance etc. The Mayas, the history channel claims were exceedingly obsessed with time. The calendar has accurately predicted a lot of events like the discovery of the New World & it surprisingly comes to an end on a specific date in the year 2012.

Among other sources are prophecy or prediction was made by The Oracle. Oracle in ancient times were highly able psychics who lived in seclusion. This psychic was quite a famed & celebrated one in Rome. Her name was Sybill. Yes, like Sybill Trelawney the Seer & Divination teacher in Harry Potter. Sybill made predictions & wrote them on oak leaves which were later copied on to scrolls & stored in temples of Jupiter & were considered one of the most religious texts of Rome. She predicted that the world would last fr 9 periods of 800 years each. Sybill previously predicted the invasion of Italy in 600BC, the rise of the celebrated roman emperor Constantine, By name, & she predicted the birth of Jesus, 20 years before he was actually born. Her last prophecy was about an apocalypse in the 10th period of 800 years cycle, in which there would be wars, earthquakes & fire from the skies which would destroy entire cities. In literate words, a nuclear war.

Another oracle, a priestess of God Apollo in Delphii also made similar predictions. She also predicted the fame of the celebrated philosopher Socrates, the invasion of Greece & Alexander's conquests.

The Chinese Oracle, the i Ching also comes to an end on the same date as the Mayan calendar.

On 21st December 2012 the Earth will be in exact alignment with the sun & in the centre of the milky way. This formation takes place once every 25800 years. The astronomers assume that the magnetic fields may change places which is more commonly known as the pole change which would result in world wide apocalypse caused due to position of the poles. recent studies confirm that the pole shifting has taken place before, about 800 million years ago.

Then there is the friendly Wizard Merlin. All nice & old. He as it turns out was an oracle of doom, a half demon half man, an evil celtic shaman etc as they called him on the history channel. he predicted terrorist attacks & the fall of Napolean at Waterloo & upcoming of Hitler, the invention of cell phones in the 20th century, but the prophecy we're concerned with is the one in which he predicts a disaster in Britain's Nuclear Power Station area. To add to that he predicts, global warming and to end it Merlin predicts a Polar shift. Too.

Now comes another Oracle. These girls seem dime a dozen to me now.
So her name was Mother Shipton, she lived in a cave (no wonder she was so bored!) like the other two oracles & was born of multiple spirits like Merlin.
She predicted Queen Victoria by name & the world wars. (Daym I would love to be an oracle. Though I would really appreciate it if they din't call me by that name :p) She also predicted the changing fashion sense of the coming centuries i.e. from ballroom dresses to Jeans & Rapunzel would cut of her long tresses to sport a more funky short cropped hairstyle :D Mother Shipton too predicts doom in the 21st century :).

The last source might me highly surprising to some. It is the Holy Bible. It's earlier predictions were the conquest of Jerusalem which came true. Jesus predicted the Roman conquest of Jerusalem and it happened too. The prophecy of our doom is in the Book of Revelation. The book prophecies the invention of war choppers & tanks, AIDS etc.

So our doomsday is based on a set of strikingly similar prophecies & predictions made by different sources over the centuries.
The ancient cultures believed that the planet has to come to an end like everything else & my debate here is maybe they tend to make the doom possible through the spiritual method. A lot of men today preach the power of the mind. The Law of Attraction even states that everything that happens, happens because we think of it's happening. Maybe they have been projecting this thought of destruction in our minds over the centuries through these prophecies. Just by believing in it we can make it happen. Our thoughts are projected into the universe in the form of waves & it is possible that all the predictions came true only 'cos we believed them to come true. So we shouldn't really believe in any doomsday, just to avoid it, we should encourage positive vibes and thought. Or is there any other way of escaping this prediction?
I got into a lot of discussions about the doomsday theory & was informed that the Swiss government has started storing DNA samples of all the species of plants & animals found on the planet in a war proof secured bunk. This can be seen as a positive step in case we're hit by the apocalypse. Or it can generate the negative thoughts needed to trigger of the apocalypse. Hard topic to debate upon or what!!

Grr.

To start with, my phones have a history. It started with me, getting forced to go to a party, on my 1st pre board which was by the way, maths. I was forced by this girl who used to be my friend. She had a crush on this guy and that guy's best friend supposedly had a crush on me. So the scheme was me seeing this guy and fixing up my friend with his best friend. So i went to the party. Ooh and did i mention i had my worst relatives over at my place? Yes they were. Anyway so i went directly after the exam, took an entire day of roaming around shopping and getting ready went to the party, got drunk to actually bring myself to saying yes to that guy. I did not really like him, but he was a nice guy with brains for a change. So i got drunk and said yes to the guy and started dancing like a freak and said yes to a lot more than just one guy :$. Well that was just the party anyway, my new boyfriend drove me back home, he drove while i was sleeping in the backseat, got me sobered up and i entered home at 9.30 which is quite early compared to my normal timings. Dad never really says anything, but my relatives, created a scene, tried to throw me outa the house, and finally confiscated my phone saying it was the root of all evils. I bought another one, they confiscated it, another one they confiscated it, and yet another 3 phones which again were confiscated. I blew up my saved allowance on the phones and then they convinced dad that i should not get unmonitored allowance 'cause i might get into drugs. All i had to say was 'Hah, what you know about me is all you'll ever know." So well, fights have been incessant and constant since i was 13 and was caught clubbing with some friends. After this incident i almost have become a tenant in the house, not a tenant actually 'cause i don't pay any rent but i don't really take anything from dad either. My last phone, my ex driver's 1100, was confiscated by the school authorities. So now they have an almost lifetime supply of kohl pencils, glosses, wrist bands etc and 2 phones and an ipod shuffle.
So the thing i actually wanted to express through this post was my disgruntlement. My phone was confiscated and for half a day i went crazy for another phone. But then i realized that life was much more peaceful without a phone, no more constant ringing, no more everyday outings, no more fights etc. I needed that so i bought a phone, and returned it :|.
And now, my landline doesn't stop ringing :(. Why aren't humans EVER satisfied?
Ooh. And i want a P1i. On dad's card. Without telling him. I'm confused. Should i go for it or not?

THE 1st post. **drumroll**applause** ya ryt.

So as all my friends have been blogging their hearts out & me being completely bored,I finally decide i should blog too as soo many people have been anticipating The Blog from The Shailja. Yeah right i am sure none of my frieds will ever stumble across this blog of mine & as a matter of fact i wont let anyone who knows me read this 'thing' too. So after recovering my pasword as well as my 3 ids i finally try to put my thoughts together and crap it all out. Best part. I got alot to write. Worst part. Im blank. Lol
This like happens everytime i try to write, trust me i have big plans & wishes & dreams to write songs & poems which will someday be remembered as legendary! But my clouds somehow rarely have silver linings,so worst part about my dreams is the reality. I cant rhyme enough to make sense & express my feelings at the same time. My rhymes make no sense. I can never express myself in songs & poems or even blog entries like this one. So ok whatever..i'll try to make some sense...happy reading though caution my words may make no sense & may leave in a state of utter shock & u may even come to the conclusion that you don't know me at all. This mightonly happen if you claim to know me at all. If you don't know me then its ok but if you're a friend then read at your own risk. The author will not be held responsible for any shock or aftermaths & the author already foresees the fact that you might come up with riduculous rumours & even break whatever friendship ties you have with her. So warning is read at your own risk.
RAWK ON~
